Sadly, child abuse is more common than many people realise. That’s why the NSPCC provides 180 services in the UK and the Channel Islands including a national Child Protection Helpline and ChildLine, the 24-hour free helpline for children and young people who need to talk. Its other activities include public awareness campaigns, training and campaigning for changes to the law.
